Offgrid Pro is built to plan systems, not profile people. We limit collection to what operates, improves, and funds the service.
Information you choose to provide
Accounts use your name, email address, and a password protected by WordPress. Support messages contain the details you submit. Subscription records include plan, status, renewal dates, and transaction references; card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Offgrid Pro.
Plans and location
Your appliance list and system configuration are saved locally unless you deliberately use an account-backed save feature. When you request a solar estimate, location is used to obtain relevant sunlight data. Exact coordinates and addresses are not included in our analytics events.
First-party product analytics
With analytics enabled, we receive a pseudonymous device identifier, session identifier, platform, app version, device/OS details, locale, screen class, country code, allow-listed feature events, bucketed system values, and redacted error diagnostics. This helps us find failures and understand which planner steps need improvement. Raw events and error diagnostics are scheduled for deletion after 90 days; aggregated totals may be retained longer.
Advertising
The free app may use Google AdMob. Google may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, ad interactions, and consent choices to deliver, limit, and measure ads. Where required, an in-app consent form is shown before eligible advertising requests. You can revisit analytics and advertising choices in the app settings. Learn more in Google's advertising policy.
Payments and app stores
Website purchases are processed through WooCommerce and the payment methods displayed at checkout, including Stripe where available. Native purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple's App Store. Those providers process payment and fraud-prevention information under their own policies.
Cookies and security
The website uses essential WordPress and WooCommerce cookies for sign-in, cart, checkout, security, and preferences. We use access controls, HTTPS, rate limits, and short-lived app tokens, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. We share only what is necessary with hosting, email, payment, store, analytics, and advertising providers. Account and order records are retained while needed to provide the service and meet tax, accounting, dispute, and legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You may disable optional analytics in the app, manage ad consent where available, and request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data. Some purchase records must be retained where the law requires it.
